Join The American Institute of Architects (AIA), a non-profit professional national organization that promotes and supports the profession of architecture, comprises more than 70 thousand Members in the US and abroad. For over 150 years, The American Institute of Architects has promoted the value of architects and architecture.

AIA members belong to local, state and national chapters. Oregon Professionals are assigned to the local chapter corresponding with the area they live and work in.

I am licensed to practice architecture in U.S. State or Territory.

Associate Member (Assoc. AIA)

Assoc. AIA is open to individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

• I am an intern participating in career responsibilities and working toward licensure

• I work under the supervision of an architect

• I hold a degree in architecture

• I am a faculty member in a university program in architecture

Complimentary Membership for Recent Graduates

The AIA is offering a complimentary membership for all individuals who have recently graduated with a degree in Architecture. This offer provides qualified individuals up to 18 months of free membership in the AIA ending on 12/31 of the year following graduation.
